The Final Leg

I am so behind in blogging because we didn't get internet until yesterday! So, I'm going to catch up in order tonight....

The last leg of our trip was so exciting, although not at all due to the scenery. It is really incredible how little there is in the state of Kansas and in eastern Colorado. We got a really early start from Junction City, KS so that we could get to Boulder at a decent time.

Sunrise in Junction City, KS
WOW, we thought Kansas was flat and empty. Could have never guessed that eastern Colorado would somehow be even flatter and emptier! Incredible.

Not too much to talk about regarding the drive... but here's what we saw:

Dog riding in the back of pickup... going 80 MPH on highway!!

Tiny chapel the middle of nowhere

Brandon driving through enormous wind farm
Blue Bear wasn't too excited by Kansas, caught some Zs
Cattle being herded

Finally Colorado!!!

Nothing in sight for MILES in East Colorado
The Rockies!!! Brandon driving into Boulder
