For the past 4 days, Brandon and I have been busy packing up our 2000 square foot home and moving items out to the POD which is the biggest game of Tetris you can ever imagine. But right alongside of us during this exhausting process were my parents and Susan and Alex!! Without ever even being asked, these four simply showed up at our house each day ready to work... and for HOURS at a time. There is no doubt in our minds that we could not have done this without them. It was a HUGE task and tonight at 9 p.m. the last item was placed inside and the door locked.... just in time for pickup tomorrow morning. Not a single inch was spared in this 16'x8'x8' storage unit. How we have accumulated so much stuff in the past years, I don't know. We have taken load after load to the landfill and to Unique Thrift Store.... and still we have this much.
There is no amount of money that is too much to pay people to unload this sucker. If I never have to touch another moving box it would be too soon.
So, it's official! As of tomorrow, our belongings will be en route to our new home in Colorado to meet us there on the 19th! We check into Casa Freeman for our last days in town. Can't wait to spend some great quality time with my parents.
I am in dire need of sleep and the bedroom floor is calling my name, so here are some pictures that tell the story.
