Brandon had a GREAT DAY yesterday! :) After a quick referral from one of our new Boulder friends, Doug R., Brandon was called in for an interview with only 1 hour notice to the Boulder-based company, Crocs. We all know them... you know those strange-in-appearance, rubber looking shoes that everyone claims are SO comfortable that it doesn't matter how they look? :) He had a really great interview with 3 people at Crocs and then was offered the job just a few hours later!! (So funny... they told him to wear Crocs to the interview if he has them! haha)What a night! I am so sad that I wasn't there to take the celebratory shot of Dos Lunas tequila with him, but Doug R, Todd and Sus rushed over to the house to have an impromptu celebration with him. :)
Even crazier... he starts THURSDAY! It sounds like an awesome job - he'll be a developer on a team that is helping to make the company more globally recognized and will be working on developing some very neat software for customers to use themselves online. There could even be some international travel involved for him. So cool!
It's a fantastic company and HUGE brand that started in Boulder and the office he'll be working in is about 15 minutes drive from home. Talk about landing the perfect Boulder job! Sounds like it's going to have the right amount of work/life balance that Brandon's been looking for... the main reason we uprooted life and came here!
